Editorial policy
Our editorial approach is to make policy concepts legible without disguising uncertainty or presenting opinion as settled fact. We distinguish explanation from advocacy and correct the record when an error is identified.
Accuracy and clarity
We check names, definitions and factual statements against suitable source material before publication, and revise wording when a claim is too broad or unclear. Where evidence, interpretation or scope is uncertain, we say so rather than smoothing the uncertainty away.
Independence and conflicts
Editorial choices are made for their relevance to readers. Any material relationship that could reasonably affect how a piece is read is disclosed alongside that material; payment does not purchase a favourable editorial conclusion.
Corrections
Readers can report a suspected error through the Contact page. We review the specific point, update confirmed errors and make the correction clear in the affected article when appropriate.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled where it appears and kept distinct from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when relevant, this is disclosed near the image, and illustrations are not presented as documentary evidence.
